Ansel Adams and Edward Burtynsky featured at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection
Two titans in the world of photography are currently being featured at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg Ontario from June 29th to September 29th.
Ansel Adams is one of the most well known names in photography and to this day many professionals have studied his methods of photography.
We are privileged to have a collection titled Ansel Adams: Masterworks here in Canada generously organized by the Turtle Bay Exploration Park in association with Landau Traveling Exhibitions.
Edward Burtynsky was born in St. Catharines, Ontario in 1955. According to his bio for the exhibit, “Growing up in close proximity to the Welland Canal, Burtynsky became fascinated by the ability of societies to alter environments through technology – a theme that would later become the basis of his work. Burtynsky’s large-scale photographs depict landscapes that have been affected by human intervention and the growth of consumer culture.”
