Canadian-based VRX Studios sells for $3 million
Canadian-based photography studio VRX Studios, a leading full-service, photography and content services company, sells for $3 million.
The company VRX Worldwide entered into an agreement to sell its photography business to 1008851 BC Ltd., an affiliated company of LHI Local Hospitality Inc.
The move is part of VRX Worldwide’s rebranding as MediaValet Inc. and its strategic restructuring to focus on its fast-growing cloud-based digital asset management software business.
In a press release, the company says MediaValet was initially created by VRX Studios for its in-house need of a digital asset management system. MediaValet eventually became a cloud-based system that will allow companies to organize, secure, and share their digital assets, wherever their users are in the world.
Explaining the move to sell the photography business, MediaValet Inc founder and CEO David MacLaren says, “Born out of our own struggles to find a suitable digital asset management solution for VRX Studios, MediaValet has become the growth engine of our company. We realized early on that MediaValet had the potential to be ore than simply an internal tool for our photography business.”
VRX Studios offers a wide range of photography styles, including architectural, destination, food & beverage, and lifestyle photography.
The studio’s photographers have been recognized for their talent and eye for detail, satisfying clients such as Hilton, Hyatt, Embassy Suites, and Fairmont, among many others that have relied on VRX to provide inspiring photography.
The studio is committed to “create stunning photography that consumers love,” driven by a relentless pursuit of innovation and dedication to its clients.
